We make it easy and affordable to enroll in courses for college credit.

How it Works

With our Courses on Demand Program, you can enroll online to take TEL courses, which have been reviewed and approved for college credit by partner universities. You pay $200 per course for a 3-credit-hour course, which includes all course materials and instruction, as well as technology and exam proctoring fees. There are no additional fees or materials costs for our Courses on Demand.

Upon successful completion of a course, a partner university will award you credit and provide a transcript reflecting the letter grade earned. Credits from these courses count toward a degree at the partner university, or can generally be transferred to another regionally accredited college.

Students participating in our Courses on Demand program are not eligible for financial aid or partner college support services (e.g. counseling service, professional development activities, internships).

The Process

1. Selection

Browse our Courses on Demand catalog and select courses to take for college credit.

2. Purchase

3. Registration

k

Choose your college or university from TEL’s list of partners* and submit your registration form. You will receive an email that includes links, information, and support for getting started.

4. Transcript

Upon successful course completion, you will receive credits for the course and your selected institution will provide information about requesting an official transcript.

*Be sure the partner you choose transcribes the course(s) you purchased. You can find that information on the partner page under course equivalencies or the course product page.

Credit Transfer

TEL’s Courses on Demand program allows you to earn college credit via our partnerships with regionally accredited colleges and universities.

Through this program, you can enroll in TEL online courses that our partner universities have reviewed to ensure the course meets the college’s academic standards and aligns with its institutional mission. Upon passing a course, the partner college will award you credit for the course and provide a transcript reflecting the letter grade received.

As regional accreditation is the highest level of accreditation offered to colleges and universities, transcripted course credit for general education courses from one regionally accredited institution generally transfer without issue to other accredited institutions.
